WaveZero, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California holds 35 U.S and international patents leading in the development and manufacturing of low cost, environmentally friendly electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding solutions and RFID antenna products to technology companies globally.
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication ability to influence all levels of customers from engineers to CEO's promoting WaveZero brand EMI shielding products. The successful candidate will aggressively develop new business leads, opening up untapped markets via lead generation, cold calling, direct selling, and working with established sales representative companies and increasing sales revenue by deeper and broader penetration within existing accounts.
As Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for a geographical area and/or industry sector, reporting to the VP of Sales and working closely with other team members and supported by Field Applications Engineers.
Essential duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
- Meet or exceed sales bookings and revenue targets through direct customer contact and in conjunction with outside sales representatives,
- Build and track a sales pipeline, effectively manage the sales process to achieve quarterly sales targets and execute account strategies to achieve aims and objectives set by Management,
- Identify, quality and close new business in line with set quotas and engage internal resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business
- Create value propositions leading customers to buy our products.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Minimum 5 years high-tech sales experience successfully exceeding quota with proven track record closing sales in excess of $2M annually,
- Excellent customer relationship and account management skills for building long term customer and partner sales team alliances,
- Experience in managing opportunities using a formal sales process,
- Technical Sales experience within the electronics manufacturing industry highly desirable,
- Excellent oral and written communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills, computer literate,
- Ability to travel primarily West Coast, some overnight,
- Valid driver's license.
Educational Requirements:
- B.S. (Technical Degree preferred).
