High Volume Low Cost Pure Aluminum EPC Gen 2-Compliant RFID Antennas

For years, WaveZero has been producing vacuum metallized plastic shielding solutions for the medical device, communication, and consumer electronics industries. We have applied that same high level of expertise to RFID antenna and tag production. Pure aluminum antennas are inherently more efficient than conductive inks. Competitors use conductive inks (that contain expensive silver) to form antennas which are not RoHS-compliant for recyclability. WaveZero pure aluminum antennas are both RoHS compliant and fully recyclable.

Custom-Tuned Antennas in Volume

WaveZero's RFID antenna production equipment can precisely deposit the thinnest layer of aluminum on plastic film rolls. Others must use multiple "skin-depth" thicknesses to achieve the same effectiveness. Thin aluminum layers lower the materials cost without sacrificing the RF antenna signal. Our RF engineers can customize our own designs or, in many cases, yours to produce superior RFID antennas and inlays for your particular requirements. Typical design variables include Lower Cost, Specific Frequencies, Extended Range or Miniaturized Overall Tag Size.
